This is a very short visit but it is remarkable how much we managed to do. In the morning I met old friend Draga, (while Jennifer watched an exhibition on modern art, then lunch with Teddy the bridegroom -he looks composed but I am sure he feels nervous, after all, he has known his bride for only ten years . In the afterrnoon a visit to Rahel and Miki where we are lucky to see a few members of the clan; there is Shir, Or, Tal (dressed in soldier garb complete with gun) Ron, Dor and their mothers.
In the evening Brandusha invited us to the Israeli Opera. We see Alonso King's Sheherezade, a modern version of an old tale.

THE WEDDING
This must be the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen, and must be a model for all weddings.
It took place at night, in a huge garden surrounding a lake, with elegant rooms large enough to host comfortably over 400 guests. and a generous bar service with all imaginable drinks. The lovely bride was wearing the traditional white, but her dress yet stylish was simply cut and could have been worn as a party dress. The huppah was set against the background of the lake and the bride, as she walked towards Teddy was watched by all guests who clapped hands, I don't think she is very emotional but she couldn't keep back her tears.
Now the ceremony. Yes, there was a rabbi, but he was allowed to do very little. Once he pronounced the traditional blessing Einav and Teddy took over. They said a few words about themselves and then the fun began. This was the young people's wedding. There was no ceremony, no 'set family table; no speeches, free seating and delicious food served as a buffet, a tireless D.J. and dancing till dawn.
After the wedding we were taken straight to the airport.
